    Thibaud Boudignon Anjou Blanc '24

Thibaud Boudignon is originally from Bordeaux, and, before launching his career in winemaking, practiced competitive judo. He began to make wine under his own name in 2009, after his mother passed away, leaving him money as well as instructions that he put it to good use. He started his winery with a scant 3.5 hectares (about 8.5 acres) in the heart of Anjou and Savennières, in the Loire Valley.

Made from 100% Chenin Blanc, from 35-year-old vines, grown on shallow soils of gray schist and rhyolite (volcanic soil). Fermented with indigenous yeast, no malolactic conversion. Aged in 500-, 350-, and 228-liter barrels (20% new). Such purity and freshness in this wine.
